Imported and manufactured in Australia by Croci Australia, the AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System benefits from many years of product design and testing by the Italian parent company Croci International. Quality Italian components and motors combined with leading edge extrusion and roll-forming technology ensure that the AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System will look great whilst providing years of trouble free service.
Applications:
The AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System is specifically designed for covering windows, corner windows, bay windows, sliding doors and hinged entry doors including alcove type entrances.
The AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System can span up to 3.6 metres in width as a single roller shutter. Multi-span openings can be achieved using intermediate support mullions. |

Technical Specifications
Shutter Curtain:
Is constructed of a 40mm x 9mm flat blade (AR6) or a 44mm x 9mm (AR17) curved blade with an upper double folded lip (for extra strength) which forms a continuous hinge. Each slat in the shutter curtain is fitted with specially moulded end clips, which prevent lateral movement ensuring smooth and quiet operation.
Ventilation & Light Control:
All AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter Systems slats are pierced during the production stage with oval slots designed to allow airflow and natural light into your home.
Side Guides:
Manufactured using a 53mm x 21mm architectural grade aluminium extrusion for compact high strength installations and incorporate an integrated hollow section for concealing fixings. The tracks are fitted with a "nylofelt" buffer ensuring quiet and smooth operation.
The tracks allow for deep shutter slat penetration for improved security.
Drum:
Is constructed using either 60mm or 70mm galvanised octagonal axle. (Size dependent)
Bottom Rail:
Is manufactured from 55mm x 7.5mm architectural grade aluminium extrusion and provides a high strength, rigid bottom rail for the shutter curtain.
Locking:
Specially designed security springs connect the top slat to the axle. When the security roller shutter has been fully closed, these security springs will automatically lock the top of the roller shutter into the back of the pelmet box if someone were to try to lift the shutter from the outside.
An optional Bottom Rail Key Lock System can be added if required for additional security. Housed inside the extruded aluminium bottom rail are 25mm x 3mm steel flat bars which run across the entire width of the shutter, anchoring deep into the side guides when activated. The locking mechanism is controlled by a two-way, double turn mortice lock positioned at the base of the Security Window Roller Shutter.
Motorisation:
Almost any size AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System can be operated via an integrated, electrically driven motor. These space saving, direct drive, tubular motors (slide into the axle) can be controlled by a toggle switch, key switch or remote control and can be hard wired to the 240 volt house supply or powered by individual solar panels. Multiple Roller Shutters can be operated by a single remote control or with a centrally mounted gang switch.
Battery Back Up:
UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems are strongly recommended for hard wired installations, particularly where there is a security roller shutter covering the doorway. These "Smart" power packs convert 24 volt to 240 volt power in case of power failure thereby allowing your shutters to be opened or closed during the period of power failure. In an emergency situation a UPS will offer uninterrupted operation and complete peace of mind.
Installation:
The AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System will be installed on your home by one of our qualified installation technicians ensuring excellent levels of finish and security. For "hard wired" installations, a Licenced Electrician is required to connect your new shutters to the house power supply. This can be organised as part of the project by Ausiports or alternately, you may wish to use an electrician of your choice. For those that are quite handy and are looking for a D.I.Y project, the AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System with the optional Wireless Solar Control can be installed using basic tools and without the need for an electrician.
Warranty:
The AUSIPORTS Roller Shutter System carries a 5 year Guarantee covering the Aluminium Components (Head box, Side Guides, Roller Curtain and Bottom rail) against failure due to faulty manufacture and a 1 Year Guarantee on Workmanship and other components.
